In response to the COVID-19 public health crisis, clothing maker Nellie Rose founded Holler! Maskforce, a decentralized volunteer operation of home sewists who make cloth masks for Health Care Providers, essential workers and immune-compromised individuals. As professional makers and small creative business owners, Nellie, Kim, and Cara came together (working feet apart) to create the Holler! Maskforce headquarters. Combining their superpowers, studios & recently shutdown storefronts, they started working together to make as many masks as possible to donate via the Maskforce.
As this crisis continues to evolve, the general public is now advised to wear face coverings in order to help prevent the spread of the virus. We are here to help! Together we can normalize face mask wearing. We feel we all need to wear a mask in public. And it is our duty to make some great ones. We are currently selling limited runs of quality 100% cotton reusable masks. Incorporating hand-painted, silk screened patterns and vintage prints. All masks have a pocket for a replaceable filter, wire nasal bridge, and a 4 ft. cotton rope tie for a comfortable fit.
With a focus on social responsibility, currently half of all of the masks made in Studio Holler are donated to our counterpart Holler! Maskforce, which continues to provide hundreds of cloth reusable masks per week to those in need for free.
